Ron Hazell, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada is an internationally known artist
and painting workshop instructor. In 1997 he was elected to the prestigious Canadian
Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC), which was founded in 1925 “to cultivate and
encourage excellence in the medium of watercolour”. In 2012, he was elected to the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), which was founded in 1972 “to foster and celebrate the visual arts in Canada”.
Ron is the author of the North Light book “The Artist’s Guide to Painting Water in
Watercolor”, published worldwide in 2015.
