This work was created from found imagery that resembled my maritime upbringing. It has a dream like quality with its collage effect and exaggeration of colour. This assemblage was inspired by the piles of found photographs the artist slowly acquired and how the mounting collection functioned together in different dialogs. The work purposes that the image has no end and exists far off the canvas and plays with the idea of false reflections. The shore is of an unknown Maritime coastal village was reinterpreted from a black and white reference image.
