Mark Grantham

He grew up on Leeds Street in the city's north end not far from the
Hydrostone District, and completed his first oil on canvas at age 11.
After receiving Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees
from Dalhousie University, Mark went on to study architecture at the
Technical University of Nova Scotia, from where he holds a Bachelor of
Environmental Design Studies degree as well as a Masters degree in
Architecture.
Mark has been painting full time since 1996, and his work continues to
evolve. He is also a regular fixture every Saturday at the Halifax
Seaport Farmers' Market with his line of prints and greeting cards.
Mark's paintings can be found in countless private and corporate
collections, as well as the Nova Scotia and Canada Council Art Banks.
